John's teaching focuses on a person's relationship with God and how the Bible can be applied to daily decisions and challenges.

John holds a Bachelor of Science from Texas State University and a Master of Arts in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California.

John has been in full time ministry since 1992. He is the founding pastor of San Marcos Community Church, which held it's first public meeting in May of 2001. He has spent extensive time in short term Christian missions in Southeast Asia and Central America. John and Susan have three children. John can be contacted at john@sanmarcoscommunitychurch.org.
