SHOCK Youth is for grades 6-12. S.H.O.C.K stands for Student Having One Common King, and the goal is for our group of students to live their lives in such a passionate pursuit of Jesus that it would literally shock the world’s standards and encourage their peers to live life in the same manner.
SHOCK Youth meets every Wednesday evening from 6:30-8:00pm at San Marcos Community Church. We have a time for fellowship, fun, snacks, worship and a Bible lesson during every meeting. Check the calendar on the right for a full schedule of events, or contact Jon Zmikly for more information.
Jon Zmikly is the SHOCK youth pastor. He teaches on relevant topics like peer pressure, temptations, relationships, and many other challenging topics students face. SHOCK also gathers for fun, impromptu activities throughout the week.
